Prof.Dr. Aykut HOCANINYÖDAK President

Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın, who graduated from the Nicosia Turkish Maarif College in 1988, began his education with a scholarship at Rice University in the state of Texas, USA, in the same year and graduated as an Electrical and Computer Engineer in 1992.

He pursued his master's studies in the USA and his doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University.

In 2007, he was appointed as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at EMU, where he started working in 2003, and in 2014, he was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at EMU.

Prof. Dr. Hocanın, who has been involved in the accreditation processes of many national and international universities, served as the Rector of EMU from 2020 to 2023.

As of March 24, 2024, he has begun serving as the President of YÖDAK.
