President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus TATAR handed over the appointment document to TERKAN, who was elected as a YÖDAK Member by ÜAKK.

Prof. was elected as a YÖDAK Member by receiving 35 of 48 votes in the YÖDAK Membership election held by the Interuniversity Academic Coordination Board (ÜAKK) under the Presidency of the Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Board (YÖDAK), hosted by Eastern Mediterranean University on 21 November 2023. Dr. Remziye TERKAN received her appointment certificate from the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Mr. Ersin TATAR.
President Ersin TATAR welcomed TERKAN, who was elected as a YÖDAK Member.

During the meeting held at the Presidential Palace, President Ersin TATAR pointed out that YÖDAK is a very important institution for TRNC Universities and TRNC Higher Education, and congratulated TERKAN, who was elected as a YÖDAK Member, and wished him success in his duty.

YÖDAK Member Prof. Dr. Remziye TERKAN said, “I would like to thank the valuable members of ÜAKK, our universities, YÖDAK President and members, and you, our esteemed President, for giving me the opportunity to take part in this important board. It is a privilege and a separate responsibility to work to contribute to the development of higher education. "I promise to act with awareness of my duty and responsibility," he said.
At the end of the meeting, President TATAR delivered the appointment letter to TERKAN.
