Message from YÖDAK on the Occasion of the Republic Day of 29 October
As the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council (YÖDAK), we proudly celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey on this 29th of October Republic Day.
While we respectfully and gratefully commemorate our Republic's founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, and our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation, we are once again reminded of our responsibility to cultivate modern, free-thinking, and creative individuals in education, fully aware of the values bestowed upon us by the Republic. We emphasize the importance of raising our youth as individuals who will carry our country toward a brighter future, in line with the principles of freedom and equality offered by the Republic.
As we continue our efforts to improve the quality of higher education in the light of democratic and scientific values, we accept it as our duty to contribute to our nation's education system by adhering to reason and science, which are the fundamental principles of the Republic.
On this meaningful day, with the responsibility of contributing to the education of future generations in the light of our Republic, we extend our sincerest congratulations to the Turkish nation, especially to the entire academic community, on the occasion of the 29th of October Republic Day.
Best regards,
Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council (YÖDAK)
