YÖDAK’s Message of Remembrance for Atatürk on November 10
Today, on the 86th anniversary of the passing of the founder of our Republic, the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we remember him with respect, gratitude, and reverence. November 10 is not only a day of mourning for the Turkish Nation, but also a day when we reaffirm our commitment to better understand and uphold the principles and values Atatürk bequeathed to us.
Atatürk was a great leader who inspired not only the Turkish nation but also all world nations in the name of freedom and independence through his struggle for independence. His foresight, his emphasis on scientific thought, and his reforms in the fields of education and culture continue to illuminate our path even today.
As YÖDAK, we always take guidance from Atatürk’s words, “Science is the most reliable guide in life,” valuing his dedication to science and education. In line with Atatürk’s goal of reaching the level of contemporary civilization, we are working towards strengthening and advancing our higher education system.
On this meaningful day, we once again commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, all the heroes of the War of Independence, and our revered martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this land, with gratitude and respect.
Sincerely,
Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK)
