Message of the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council (YÖDAK) on December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities
December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, is a day that reminds us to embrace differences as a richness. We all share the responsibility of building a world where every individual has equal rights and opportunities.
Education must be accessible and inclusive for everyone. Ensuring equal opportunities in higher education, removing all barriers faced by persons with disabilities, and creating an environment where they can fully realize their potential are among our key priorities.
As the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council (YÖDAK), we attach great importance to enabling persons with disabilities to participate more actively in education and academic life. Our universities continue their efforts to create a more inclusive structure in all physical, digital, and social domains. We are also taking and will continue to take the necessary steps toward providing an educational environment with equal conditions for all individuals.
With the hope of building a barrier-free life in education together, we extend our love and respect on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
