The fact that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated this meaningful day—marking the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye—to children is the strongest expression of his trust in future generations and the foundation of national sovereignty.
April 23rd is not just a celebration; it is a profound vision of spreading democracy, freedom, and peace to all humanity through children.
As the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK), we remain committed to building a bridge from the present to the future of our higher education system—so that children may grow into individuals who think freely, question critically, and are shaped by science and values.
